Yep i've been playing around with VB.NET, trying to focus on gaming side while I study my cert 4 at tafe(lol)
This program is a 8 in 1 game, the running man has some psyics and gravity, space shooting games, and frogger!

Updated a bunch of things, I recently downloaded the previous version and labled a ton of stuff as horrible and for somereason wasn't updating, now it's more balanced, it's getting there!

Battle Arena Ideas!
Needing some ideas to implement, they include
1) Netplay!
1a) Chat and stuff
1b) Trading stuff
2) Crafting book
3) Extra spells/attacks
4) Extra stats
5) Dodge/Miss/Parry
Post your ideas in the shout box! I'll try and get around to it, with the network code there is ALOT of rewrite, detection, and of corse to setup a server, which shouldn't be too bad.
Netplay overview.
The thing with net play you have to look at 3 parts, player 1, player 2 and the server, for something as simple as player 1 hits player 2 you have to think about several options, it gets very long. Just say Player 1 presses attack, and it hits player 2 for x amount of damage, the client in this case is player 1 and player 2, right, client 1 (player 1) hits attack 1, this sends a 'hidden' message to the server like #0001, then the server will out put the display and tell both clients player 1 has stuct player 2, simple but rather long code to bother at this point, and this is only the attack, I would have to think about all the stats, and account for people cheating. That's the basics.
